Not even close? Weird question Chop? After the 2004 Season and
the Babe Ruth trade how could anyone say Mets??

I think if you asked 100,000 people 99,987 would say Boston

They have never really played a meaningful game against each other. The Red Sox/Yankees are in the same division and meet in the playoffs. Pretty intense rivalry there.

What a horrible take
Yes, 20-1 is ridiculous
It should be 2,000,000-1

Divisions and endless playoff rivals for decades comparedto 1 WS and a few interleague games
lol

Yanks-Red Sox, for sure.

Cole, $36M a year, failed last night, his contract goes another 6 years, is he having back problems? Chronic? The super salary teams like Yankees, Dodgers ($282M), and a few others can afford to deal with this kind of situation but most franchises cannot.

I do not know what is going to be negotiated this winter but IMO some kind of salary cap should be explored, the top 7-8 markets have the $$$, the others cannot compete, sure TB does ($71M) and a few others, but it is a joke. Dodgers lose Bauer, no problem, they just took Scherzer at the trade deadline. Next!

MLB is smart to socially engineer it to allow for the big market teams to have a leg up. Nobody is watching a Tampa/KC world series.
